“What NJ LEEP has taught me, and what I take on my path of life, is the need to give back to my community. Now I am entering grad school for School Counseling and I will always share gratitude for the mentorship that NJ LEEP has given me for a lifetime.” - NJ LEEP Class of 2012, William Patterson Class of 2017, College and Career Counselor at Newark Collegiate Academy High School.

where i am today…

I graduated from William Paterson University with a degree in Psychology and Africana Studies. I made it an effort both in my career and voluntarily to work in the service field. I’m now serving as College and Career Counselor at Newark Collegiate Academy High School, where I can provide the same service NJ LEEP gave me in high school to the next generation of scholars. Once my work day at Newark Collegiate is over, I make my way to my next gig as a volunteer youth football coach in the city of Newark.

Now I am also now entering grad school for School Counseling and I will always share gratitude for the mentorship that NJ LEEP has given me for a lifetime.
