NJ LEEP Summer Programming
All of our students participate in a full time, 5-week long summer program.
Our Programs
6th Grade Summer
Student teams participate in a Pitch Competition to convince a company to choose Newark as the location for their new headquarters.
7th Grade Summer
Student groups present on social justice issues like Human Trafficking, Bullying, and Black Lives Matter, and talk about the ''Game Changers" who lead and influence these movements.
8th Grade Summer
Students do independent social impact projects and presentations.
9th Grade - Summer Law Institute
Students learn criminal law, visit corporate legal departments, and compete in a mock trial.
10th Grade - Week-on-the-Job Internship Program
Students participate in four experiences at corporate offices in NYC and NJ during the summer.
11th Grade - Junior Experience
Students focus on social-emotional learning, financial literacy, social justice, and ACT/SAT test prep during the summer and school year.
12th Grade - College Access Program
Students work on all components of the college application process, including personal statements, creating a resume,researching and visiting colleges, completing the Common App, completing scholarship and financial aid applications, and
