Honor Council & Family Council

Our Student Honor Council serves as a student judiciary body. Five students per class are selected by staff members to serve a one-year term and meetings are held monthly. We use a peer-based model to foster student growth and accountability.

Students are brought before Honor Council by staff members and their peers. Parents are allowed to attend their student’s hearing. Students brought before Honor Council may receive a warning, be placed on probation, assigned a student mentor, or expelled from the program. Our Family Council is comprised of parents from each grade to foster greater communication between NJ LEEP parents and staff.
